Dave and Amelia Dooley.
Amelia said, "Yes," to Dave twenty-something years ago on this bridge. Dave has a heart for serving
in the New York Metro area.. Before coming to Baldwin, Dave served with missions in Manhattan's "Hell's
Kitchen" and on the Bowery. He has worked in the field of substance abuse while serving as a co-pastor
in Brooklyn. Dave and his beautiful wife, Amelia, have two great kids who have grown up in Baldwin.
Dave has been serving as Sr. Minister with the South Nassau Christian Church since 1999. He says that this is the
greatest place he knows of to serve God. And he is delighted to have Scott Solimine serving as Associate Minister.
Scott is the associate minister
and is married to Valerie (also in picture). He has had the opportunity to work both in church and para-church ministry
over the last 8 years. He grew up in Hauppauge New York, moved to Lancaster PA for school and initial ministry experiences.
Through a series of incredible circumstances Val and Scott moved to South Korea to teach ESL. They eventually
found themselves back in NY with a renewed vision as national missionaries. They have a passion for reaching the lost
with the message of Grace. Scott enjoys going to the local park to play handball.
